Hemisfair Theater of Performing Arts, San Antonio, TX 11/21/68

This is an ultra-rare poster from San Antonio, Texas that features Big Brother & The Holding Company with Janis Joplin! This show was promoted by the Vulcan Gas Company and was to be held at the Hemisfair Theatre in San Antonio, Texas on November 21, 1968. Sadly, the show was cancelled and the posters never distributed, but fortunately a few survived! We have only seen one public offering in the last 25 years, that being the example we sold in our May 2025 Select Concert Poster Auction for $14,687.50!. This image was printed as posters and handbills, which each have a different color scheme.

The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 28⅜" x 22½".

The original Handbill was printed on white stock and measures approximately 11" x 9".
