University of Cincinnati Fieldhouse 4/3/70

This is one of only a few posters that feature both The Grateful Dead and Ken Kesey & the Pranksters. The image is overtly sexual and has a Rick Griffin-like influence. This is a relatively rare poster, and most copies display a fair amount of damage or smeared ink. In addition, they were printed on cheap, thin paper that was very susceptible to tearing and creasing. A Near Mint copy brought $1,705 at auction in August 2007, with spirited bidding until the very end.

The original poster was printed on thin, glossy white stock and measures approximately 11⅞″ x 17″.
