Troy Alders created this timeless design for a trio of Grateful Dead shows during Mardi Gras week. The shows took place at the Oakland Coliseum Arena and were immediate sell outs. The popularity of this image led to a second printing.
The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 10¾” x 24½”. Original posters have "The Grateful Dead" above the skull.
The second print poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 12” x 27¼”. Second print posters have "Grateful Dead" above the skull.
