Winter Holidays Card 12/25/86

In 1986, Rick Griffin designed these Grateful Dead Christmas cards. It features six skeletons in Mariachi outfits with “Peace on Earth” at the top. On the back, the cards say, “Wishing you and yours a Joyous Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, a prosperous New Year, peace, love, laughter, and a great good cheer. -The Grateful Dead.” The cards are addressed from “Dead Heads” in San Rafael, California.

The original uncut proof sheet was printed on white stock and measures approximately 22” x 17”.
