Catalog No. MSO-FME.1969.12.26
The New Year's shows by the Band of Gypsys are legendary and were released as an album on March 25, 1970. Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Miles, and Billy Cox comprised the Band of Gypsys, a short-lived trio who had broken up by the time of the album release. While panned by the critics at the time, these recordings have gone on to be considered some of the best-ever live performances by Hendrix.
The original postcard was printed on yellow stock and measures approximately 6" x 9".
