Bonnie MacLean designed this poster for an October/November 1969 engagement that featured Alice Cooper, It's a Beautiful Day, and Ike & Tina Turner. It is a big departure from her usual elegant designs. She took a similar path on the BG-197 Grateful Dead poster.
The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-197 and 198 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
