Used for a New Year’s Eve show in 1967, this poster was created by Bob Schnepf and advertised Blue Cheer, Country Joe & The Fish, the Flamin’ Groovies, Lee Michaels, Mad River, and Mount Rushmore.
The original poster was printed on glossy, coated stock and measures approximately 11″ x 28″.
The second print poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 11⅛″ x 28″.
The postcard comes in three varieties, all of which measure approximately 5″ x 7″. The postcards were printed separately from the posters and the stock does not match either the original or the second printing:
The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse.
The Type B card has a bulk rate permit on the back.
The Type C card has a bulk rate permit on the back and was mechanically addressed and sent to people on the Family Dog mailing list.
