Created by Bob Schnepf, this poster was used for a series of shows at the Avalon Ballroom in December 1967. Featured were Blue Cheer, Country Joe & The Fish, Lee Michaels, and the Jim Kewskin Jug Band.
The original poster was printed on glossy, coated stock and measures approximately 10⅞″ x 28″.
The second print poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 11″ x 28″.
The postcard comes in three varieties, all of which measure approximately 5″ x 7″. The postcards were printed separately from the posters and the stock does not match either the original or the second printing.
The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse.
The Type B card has a bulk rate permit on the back.
The Type C card has a bulk rate permit on the back and was mechanically addressed and sent to people on the Family Dog mailing list.
