With the closing of the Fillmore West, Bill Graham’s primary numbered series came to an end. However, he did commission more posters, usually larger than his BG series posters and more commemorative than advertisements. Like many in the 1970s, Graham relied on newspaper and radio ads to sell out his concerts, but he did commission David Singer to create many of his big concerts. This poster, designed by Singer, advertises the Who at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in 1973 and is also part of the Bill Graham Presents series.

The original proof sheet was printed on white stock and measures approximately 22” x 28½”.
