Catalog No. BG-97

Stanley Mouse's first creation in the Bill Graham series, BG-97, was created without Alton Kelley. The design features collage-like elements surrounded by an art deco border. Mouse referred to this image as his "Haiku poem . . . a series of visual symbols."

The Original posters come in three types:

The original Type 1 poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 12¾″ x 21¾″. This version is identified by the “© B.Grahm 67”credit that was scratched into the plate above the word “Lights”.

The original Type 2 poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 12¾″ x 21¾″. This version is identified by the “© B.Graham 67”credit that was scratched into the plate above the word “Lights”. Next to the artist credit is the inscription “#97”, also scratched into the plate.

The original Type 3 poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 12¾″ x 21¾″. This version is identified by the “© B.Graham 67”credit that was scratched into the plate above the word “Lights”. Next to the artist credit is the inscription “#97”, also scratched into the plate.

The postcard has a “place stamp here” reverse and measures approximately 4¼″ x 7″. Some postcards exist with a blank back.
