At the time of this concert, The Animals' music had progressed into a slightly harder-edged, more psychedelic sound. Bonnie MacLean designed this beautiful and popular image where the band names roll across the woman's headdress. Soon after this concert, Eric Burdon would team up with War, an obscure Los Angeles band.
The original Type 1 poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21″.
The original Type 2 poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21″.
The Type A postcard has a “place stamp here” reverse and measures approximately 4½″ x 7″.
The Type B postcard Postcard has a blank reverse and measures approximately 4½″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-89 and 90 and measures approximately 4½″ x 14″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
