Designed by Victor Moscoso, this poster has a wonderful design of flowers with curving stems which surround the Family Dog logo. Reportedly, the inspiration for Moscoso’s design came from a seed package. There is a fair amount of color variation on this poster, and the red varies from a pure red to a brackish red.
The original poster was printed on vellum and measures approximately 15″ x 20″. The notation “The Bindweed Press San Francisco” appears in the lower right corner.
The third print poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″. The notation “No. 36-3” appears in the lower right corner.
There are three types of original handbills. All are printed on thin paper and measure approximately 8″ x11″:
Type A is printed on white paper in red and blue ink;
Type B is printed on yellow paper in red and blue ink; and
Type C is printed on green paper in red and blue ink.
