There are two nearly identical original printings of this poster, resulting in a total press run of 2,500 copies. The central image is a photograph of a Native American named Bear Bull, a member of the Blackfoot Tribe. The photograph of Bear Bull was taken by Edward S. Curtis and dates from 1926.
The original poster was printed on vellum and measures approximately 13⅝″ x 20″. The notation “The Bindweed Press San Francisco” appears to the right of the ticket strip.
The second print poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 13⅝″ x 20″. It carries the notation “No. 25-3” in the lower left corner.
The original handbill was printed on thin white paper and measures approximately 8″ x 11″.
