David Singer created this poster to look like an old copperplate image. The combination of the central image and the oriental style of lettering announced a series of shows by Steve Miller and Bo Diddley during July 1970.
The original poster was printed on coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-243 and 244 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
