Fillmore West 5/21-24/70

This image is an interesting mix of old etchings, arches, and the familiar cat. Blues greats B.B. King and Albert King rocked The Fillmore for four nights, as advertised on this beauty.

The original poster was printed on coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21¾″. This poster was printed using a split-fountain technique.

The postcard comes in two varieties, both of which measure approximately 4⅝″ x 7″ and have a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back:

The Type A card is entirely pink.

The Type B card is pink on the right side, blending towards yellow on the left.

A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-235 and 236 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back and was printed entirely in yellow. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
