Delaney & Bonnie was a short-lived, husband-and-wife blues band that played this gig with Eric Clapton. In this image, David Singer is back to his “window style” collage, but he used a very different style of lettering. The New York Rock and Roll Ensemble shared the billing along with Golden Earring—who was on its first U.S. tour.
The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21⅞″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4½″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed that bears the images of both BG-217 and 218 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
