Big Brother & The Holding Company headlined this three-day series of shows at The Fillmore in April 1968. Scheduled to appear was Booker T & The MG’s, but the band cancelled in order to attend the funeral of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. King had been assassinated just one week before.

The original poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21⅛″.

The postcard has a “place stamp here” reverse and measures approximately 4½″ x 7⅛″.

Some postcards have a blank reverse.

A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-115 and 116 and measures approximately 4½″ x 14¼″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
