Grande Ballroom 3/30-4/1/67
Catalog No. DET-GBR.1967.03.30
This scarce Grande Ballroom poster was designed by David Carlin and was used to promote a three-day show in March and April 1967. The imagery is fantastic and features a photograph of a Native American man in the center, surrounded by a paisley pattern. A fair number of these we have seen have no white border on the right side and are a touch narrower than those with the border.
This image is known as G/G-670330 in Eric King’s book.
This image is known as number 21 in the Henkel numbering system.
The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 17″ x 21″.
