Created for an August 1969 set of shows, this poster reflects the theme of war and the peace movement that was so prevalent during the Vietnam War. It is a simple, yet elegant design that certainly reflects the times.
The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 22″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-187 and 188 and measures approximately 7⅛″ x 9″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
