The artwork on this poster is quite similar to the art created for the more famous Radio City Music Hall poster, but this actually predates the New York version. Dennis Larkins and Peter Barsotti designed this great image for a three-week series of shows at The Warfield Theater in San Francisco that began on September 25, 1980 and ran through October 14. This poster was printed twice—the original printing, and another recent version by the Bill Graham Archives.
The original poster is printed on white stock and measures 19½" x 27¾".
The original handbill is printed on white stock and measures 5" x 7".
