Oakland Coliseum 11/9/69

BG-201 marks the first time that the Rolling Stones performed for Bill Graham, and the first time that Graham booked a huge venue like the Oakland Coliseum. This same image also was used for BG-202, when the Stones went to San Diego for a one-day show. This image was printed twice, and even though the first print run was 3,000 posters, they are very scarce today.

The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21⅞″. Original posters have a series of small printing flaws in the upper right border, and also in the border at the lower right corner of the photograph.

The second print poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 22″. The second print was printed on a sheet of two posters as there are two different types; these are listed as RP-2 and RP-3 in Eric King's guide. Neither reprint has the printing flaws described above.

The postcard has a blank reverse and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7⅜″.
