Mount Tamalpais Amphitheater is well known for the famous Stanley Mouse poster featuring Winnie the Pooh. This poster is not as well known, and is much scarcer. The artwork was done by Gut, the Hell’s Angels artist that designed other posters for various venues. This image is known as “The Festival of Growing Things,” and features stylized marijuana leaves as the background. Overall, it is quite a piece of hippie memorabilia!
The original handbill was printed on white stock and measures approximately 4″ x 6″.
