Vulcan Gas Company 12/15-17/67

Number 8 in the Vulcan Gas series, this poster features a photograph of a Native American chief listening to a phonograph. The poster was designed by Gilbert Shelton and is printed in beautiful bright colors and a giant format. Shiva's Head Band was headlining its first show and was joined by The Lost & Found, another acid rock band from the area. This famous image is included in The Art of Rock as plate number 3.119. These posters are quite elusive in top condition.

The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 22″ x 28½".

The original handbill was printed on white stock and measures approximately 8½” x 11”.
