Vulcan Gas Company 12/8-10/67

Designed by the great Gilbert Shelton, this poster was used for a three-day appearance by the 13th Floor Elevators at the Vulcan Gas Company. The shows took place in December 1967 and the opening act was Shiva’s Headband. If viewed carefully, you can make out the word “Pot” in the center of the brain. The posters from the Vulcan were printed in small numbers and with few exceptions now range from very scarce to very rare. This is number 7 in the Vulcan Gas Series.

The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 22″ x 28”.

The original handbill was printed on white stock and measures approximately 8½” x 11”.
