Balconades Ballroom, San Jose, CA 2/16/68

At the Grand Opening at the Balconades, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Freedom Highway, and Mad River performed on Friday February 16, 1968. Minors were welcomed and free drinks were advertised at this grand opening show! This interesting handbill was designed by WM McKinley. The concert was presented by “Little Diane and Bob McKinley,” and perhaps there is a connection between them and the artist.

The original handbill was printed on white stock and measures approximately 4½” x 6¼”.
