Mount Tamalpais Amphitheater 8/20/67

Here is an oddity from the 60s! This poster announced the “Om Festival of Lights,” which was a procession of light from Mt. Home parking lot to Mt. Tamalpais peak. The poster encourages attendees to bring “candles, lanterns and love.” The whole shindig was sponsored by the Association for United Mankind (AUM) — Samuel Bercholz, Director.

The original poster was printed on white vellum and measures approximately 14⅛″ x 20⅝″. There is a Bindweed Press credit at the bottom center.
