Grande Ballroom 10/6 & 7/67

This is one of Gary Grimshaw’s more colorful works for the Grande — it features a marble statue as the central image, and it is rendered in pleasing shades of purple and green. This show featured Scott Richard Case, MC5, Billy & The Sunshine, and Gang — all playing for two nights in October 1967. While far from common, this is one of the easier Grande posters to find in nice condition. Apparently, a few were saved.

This image is known as G/G-671006 in Eric King’s book; number 47 in the Henkel numbering system; and number 3 under the commonly used postcard numbering system.

The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 14″ x 22″.
