Avalon Ballroom 3/5/67

This is one of the most beautiful of the posters from the Avalon Ballroom and was designed by B. Kliban, who achieved far greater fame from his cat cartoons and drawings than from his rock posters. The poster is done in a rainbow of colors and features a central image that looks a bit cat-like. This concert was a benefit for both the New Stage and the Straight Theater.

The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″.

The original postcard measures approximately 5⅛" x 7".
