Filled with anti-war symbolism, this poster was designed by Jim Blashfield for the October 29, 1967 "Citizens for a Yes on Proposition P" benefit at The Fillmore Auditorium. Headlining the show was Jefferson Airplane, backed by Mad River and Mother Earth. Proposition P, which called for the withdrawal of troops from Vietnam, was on the San Francisco Municipal ballot the following week, where it failed to pass by a 2-1 margin!
The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 13¾” x 19¾“.
The original handbill was printed on white stock and measures approximately 5” x 7”.
