Fillmore Auditorium 7/4-9/67

This olive green, black, and red poster by Bonnie MacLean features two hulking figures viewed from below. The foreshortened hand of the figure on the right extends toward the viewer. The poster advertised a six-night show with Bo Diddley and Big Brother & The Holding Company for the first three nights, and Quicksilver Messenger Service for the last three nights. Big Joe Williams also played. 

The original poster was printed in white index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21″.

The postcard has a “place stamp here” reverse and measures approximately 4½″ x 7″.

A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-70 and 71 and measures approximately 9″ x 7⅛″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
