Fillmore Auditorium 2/24-26/67

This is one of our favorite Wes Wilson posters and it is so popular it was printed twice. The great use of color and design make this image a visual treat. Both printings used ink that faded easily, and many examples seen have muted colors. Superb examples of this original are few and far between.

The original poster was printed on vellum and measures approximately 13⅝″ x 22″. The ink used on this poster is extremely sensitive to light, and fades quickly to a gray color. Original posters with a vivid blue color are quite scarce and command a healthy premium.

The second print poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 13¾″ x 22⅜″.

The postcard has a “place stamp here” reverse and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7¾″. As with the original poster, this card is prone to fading.

A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of BG-51 and 52 and measures approximately 9⅝″ x 7⅝″. This card comes with either a blank back or a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
