Fillmore Auditorium ,Fillmore West 11/7-8/69
Catalog No. AOR-4.57
In 1968, Bill Graham quit using the original Fillmore Auditorium and started using the Fillmore West, which was the old Carousel Ballroom. For many years, the Old Fillmore sat empty and unused, opening only occasionally for a show promoted by some other producer. This was one such show.
The design looks like it should have been used for a Halloween concert with the graveyard scene and ghost. This is really a great design and it’s a shame that Cab Covay didn’t design more posters back then.
The original handbill was printed on white stock and measures approximately 8″ x 11″.
