Wallkill, New York 8/15-17/69

Catalog No. AOR-3.2

This image was produced by David Byrd before the location of the Woodstock event was changed, and the now-famous poster by Arnold Skolnick was designed. In many ways, it is a far more beautiful design, with its simplicity and lack of performers’ names.

Ultimately, the venue for Woodstock was changed to Max Yasgur’s farm in White Lake, New York, and this poster was lost to obscurity. Because it was never used to promote the event, it is quite scarce today.

The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 13″ x 22″.

The original handbill was printed on white stock and measures approximately 4″ x 7″.
