Fillmore Auditorium 8/7/66
Catalog No. AOR-2.68
This image was designed for the Third Annual Children’s Adventure Day Camp Benefit that was held at the Fillmore Auditorium. Dozens of benefit events were held at the Fillmore, and Bill Graham is given credit for sponsoring many of them, in spite of the fact that his name does not appear on the actual posters. Interestingly, the spelling of MC Garry Goodrow's name is incorrect.
Most serious collectors consider the benefit posters to be “non-numbered” pieces in the Bill Graham series.
The original poster is printed in yellow and black ink on white stock and measures approximately 14¼″ x 20″.
The original handbill is printed on thin white stock in brown ink and measures approximately 8″ x 11″.
