Continental Ballroom 7/14 & 15/67
Catalog No. AOR-2.345
The Continental Ballroom was a major venue that was the South Bay’s competition for the Avalon and Fillmore. Most of the important bands of the day played there, as well as some of the lesser known bands that called the South Bay Area home. This poster features some interesting artwork by an artist that signed his name as “Grasshopper.” The central image is an old photo of an indoor horse show and other old West acts.
The original poster was printed on a gold — green vellum and measures approximately 14″ x 20″.
