Sokol Hall 11/12/66

Catalog No. AOR-2.247

This great looking poster was designed by Gut, one of the Hells Angels and a friend of the Grateful Dead. Popular legend, started by Bonham's when they sold Ramrod's estate, is that the Grateful Dead played at Sokol Hall this night. That information has been verified as false by Dave Getz of Big Brother. Once a very rare poster, a small hoard of these originals were found in high grade in the estate of a prominent Hell's Angel in 2013. Those have since been widely dispersed and are tightly held in collections.

The original poster is printed on coarse white stock and measures approximately 14⅛" x 19⅞".

The second print poster is printed on smooth white stock and measures approximately 13⅞" x 21". Second print posters bear the credit "©Hells Angels Frisco 1973" in the lower left corner.
