California Hall 3/5/67
Catalog No. AOR-2.154
This very scarce handbill was used to promote an event at the California Hall known as “Bedrock One,” which was an eclectic lineup of performers ranging from Steve Miller to the Radha Krishna Temple. The central image is of a nude woman's torso, and the concert information is printed on the back. There were two handbills used for this event, with the other being the much-different R. Crumb designed AOR 2.153.
This rarely seen handbill is by far the scarcer of the two used for this concert. It usually comes with an ink smudge or two and copies without the smudge are very few and far between.
The original handbill was printed on thick Kraft stock and measures approximately 6" x 10".
