David Singer used a Southwestern motif in this poster. The art features a ferocious lightning storm over a desert scene. In the foreground, a man with uplifted arms kneels in the sand.
The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21⅞″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4½″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed that bears the images of both BG-182 and 183 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
