FD-D13 is the companion piece to FD-95. Both were designed by Rick Griffin and Victor Moscoso and were used for shows at the Avalon Ballroom and 1601 West Evans in Denver, Colorado. Placed together, these two posters frame beautifully!
The original poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 14⅛ x 20″.
The postcard comes in five varieties, all of which measure approximately 5″ x 7″:
The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse that is printed in lavender ink.
The Type B card has a bulk rate permit on the back that is printed in lavender ink.
The Type C card is the same as Type B and was mechanically addressed and sent to people on the Family Dog mailing list.
The Type D card has a bulk rate permit on the back that is printed in gray ink.
The Type E card is the same as Type D and was mechanically addressed and sent to people on the Family Dog mailing list.
