Fillmore West 1/30-2/2/69

Randy Tuten used a good old-fashioned, all-American cheeseburger as the central image in this interesting poster. Chuck Berry and Initial Shock provided the music, along with Mike Bloomfield, Nick Gravenites, and Mark Naftalin.

The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21¼″.

The postcard comes in three varieties, all of which measure approximately 4⅝″ x 7″:

The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse.

The Type B card has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back.

The Type C card has a bulk rate permit on the back and was cut from a double card by the printer.

A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-158 and 159 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
