Fruit, faces, body parts, and fantastic creatures make up the design on this Lee Conklin poster that was used for a December 1968 series of shows that headlined Country Joe & The Fish.
The original poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 14⅛″ x 21″.
The postcard comes in two varieties, both of which measure approximately 4⅝″ x 7″:
The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse.
The Type B card has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back.
A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-148 and 149 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
