The Matrix 12/27/66-1/8/67

The Junior Wells Blues Band performed at The Matrix in San Francisco for a series of shows held from December 27, 1966 to January 8, 1967. The vibrant colors and bold look would become a trademark of Victor Moscoso’s work. 

The original poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 19¾″.

The second print poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 14¼″ x 20″. On this printing, there is a small, narrow white void in the blue border line located roughly one half inch from the top on the right hand side.
