Brooks Hall, San Francisco Civic Center 5/13-23/71
This beautiful poster was used to promote a large, 10-day show at Brook Hall in the San Francisco Civic Center. The show featured some great acts, as well as plays and exhibits of arts, crafts, and dance. The design of the poster is reminiscent of something from the Panama-Pacific Exposition held in San Francisco in 1915.
There are two types of original posters - one with a ticket outlet strip on the bottom edge and one without. Both seem to be of equal scarcity. It is unknown why there are the two varieties.
The Type 1 original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 14" x 22". This is the type with the ticket outlet strip at the bottom.
The Type 2 original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 14" x 22". This is the type without the ticket outlet strip at the bottom.
