Catalog No. MOD-PCL-02
This poster was designed by Stanley Mouse and used for the 1986 North American Tour by Siouxsie and the Banshees. The tour started on May 12 at the Warner Theater in Washington D.C. and ended on July 2 at Pier 84 in New York. This image was printed two times since first run was printed incorrectly. The ex-owner of Artrock and publisher of this poster claims to have destroyed most of the first run, but the quantity of copies present when the Artrock inventory was sold in February, 2012 would prove otherwise. As both versions were printed prior to the shows, we have differentiated them as two types.
The Type 1 original poster was printed on white stock and measure approximately 20" x 29". These have blue and white lettering and were printed first.
The Type 2 original poster was printed on white stock and measure approximately 23" x 31". These have blue lettering outlined in pink and were printed second.
The Type 1 original proof sheet was printed on white stock and measure approximately 21" x 30". These have blue and white lettering.
The Type 2 original proof sheet was printed on white stock and measure approximately 23" x 31". These have blue lettering outlined in pink.
