Head Shop Poster Circa 1967

Another Rick Griffin poster designed for the Berkeley Bonaparte company, this one is known as “A Puff of Kief.” This poster features an illustration of a large hookah and features the slogan “A puff of kief in the morning makes a man as strong as a hundred camels in the courtyard.”

The original poster was printed in black on white stock and measures approximately 14″ x 19⅞″. This poster has a Double H press credit and a number 221 union logo in the lower right corner.

The second print poster was printed in color on white paper and measures approximately 14" x 20".
