The 1973 Ann Arbor Blues & Jazz Festival was held at Otis Spann Memorial Field in Ann Arbor Michigan and featured many big acts of the day. Freddie King, Count Basie, Roosevelt Sykes, John Lee Hooker, Ray Charles and many others provided the entertainment. The poster was beautifully designed by Gary Grimshaw and is very scarce. The handbills come in four different types.
The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 21½" x 33½"
The original Type A handbill was printed on white stock and measures approximately 4¼" x 6½"
The original Type B handbill was printed on cream stock and measures approximately 5½" x 8½"
The original Type C handbill was printed on blue stock and measures approximately 11" x 8½"
The original Type D handbill was printed on yellow stock and measures approximately 8½" x 11"
