According to Hawley, “In the summer of 1968, Hendrix was touring across the United States. On August 24th, he played the The Bushnell Auditorium in Hartford. A silkscreened poster was produced to advertise for the show featuring a striking color combination of bright yellow and black.

What is unique about this Jimi Hendrix concert poster is that it says Jimi Hendrix Experience. The Jimi Hendrix Experience had broken up but the poster still had the band name on it. The Miami Jai Alai Fronton concert was Jimi Hendrix’s second to last concert in the United States. One-off Jimi Hendrix poster with deep red and blue with both the American and British flags. Jimi Hendrix got his big start in Britain. He returned to the U.S. in 1967 and played at the Monterey Pop Festival and achieved fame in the U.S. It is interesting to note that ticket prices and where to buy them was not listed. This poster was mostly likely hung up at the Miami Jai Alai Fronton venue.
