Avalon Ballroom 6/15-18/67
Catalog No. FD-66
The central image of this poster features an early 20th century photograph of a strongman named Albert Treolar. The image comes from the Encyclopedia of Physical Culture by Bernard MacFadden. Moscoso superimposed this with an image of a woman laying between an ottoman and a chair.
The original poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″. There is a tiny black dot within the first "O" of "Youngbloods".
The second print poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″. Second print posters have a lighter red and green color that does not match the postcard and the dot mentioned above has been removed.
The postcard comes in three varieties, all of which measure approximately 5″ x 7″:
The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse.
The Type B card has a bulk rate permit on the back.
The Type C card has a bulk rate permit on the back and was mechanically addressed and sent to people on the Family Dog mailing list.
