Advertised on this poster are the Youngbloods, Santana, It’s a Beautiful Day, and Dog for shows took place over three days in June 1968. David Warren and Kent Hollister were responsible for the design and Garden of Delight provided the light show.
The original poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″.
The postcard comes in five varieties:
The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse and measures approximately 5″x 7″.
The Type B card is a double card of the FD-125 and 126 images together. This type has a “place stamp here” back and measures approximately 6⅝″ x 9″.
The Type C card is a double card of the FD-125 and 126 images together. This type has a bulk rate permit on the back and measures approximately 6⅝″ x 9″.
The Type D card is the same as the Type C and was mechanically addressed and sent to people on the Family Dog mailing list.
The Type E card is of the FD-125 image only and has a bulk rate reverse. This card measures approximately 5″x 7″.
