The shows advertised on this Family Dog poster featured Flatt & Scruggs, Jack Elliott, the Sons of Champlin and Country Weather. Wes Wilson designed this image and the shows took place at the Avalon Ballroom.
The original poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20⅛″.
The postcard comes in three types:
The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse and measures approximately 4″ x 6″.
The Type B card is a double card of FD-139 and 140. This card has a bulk rate permit and measures approximately 6″ x 9″.
The Type C card is the same as the Type B and was mechanically addressed and mailed to people on the Family Dog mailing list.
